The four EPACE theme questionnaires will be distributed to the central governments of all EU Member States, plus Norway and Switzerland. The responses to the questionnaire will form the basis for a guide on good practices, pilot projects and a European network of democracy officials.
The questions are written in English. Please note that only the respondents' organisations' name will be published.

Theme 1. Democracy policy and administration of democracy issues
The objective of this enquiry is to find out how the administration of democracy issues is organised in different European countries at the level of central government. We would like to learn about democracy policies and good practices for promoting citizen participation. Furthermore, we would like to receive contact details for relevant persons, organisations and networks, as well as useful website addresses and documents.

Theme 2. E-democracy and e-participation
The objective of this questionnaire is to find out how information and communication technologies (ICT) are currently used to enhance citizen participation in policy formulating and decision making processes. We would especially like to learn about good e-democracy practices and successful case examples of e-participation from different European countries.

Theme 3. Citizenship education and youth participation
This questionnaire aims at obtaining information on the goals, volume and contents of citizenship education in different European countries. The questionnaire has two intertwined themes, which are citizenship education and youth participation. We would particularly like to find out good practices which support children's and young people's participation and influencing in the common matters. Furthermore, we would like to know more about successful projects and methods concerning youth participation and influence (at municipal, national and European levels).

Theme 4. Enhancing democratic participation of immigrants and ethnic minorities
The objective of this enquiry is to find out how the democratic participation of immigrants and ethnic minorities is taken into account in integration policies. We would especially like to learn about successful case examples of projects and good practices to enhance the participation of immigrants and ethnic minorities.
